Worked on enhancing the reliability and RFC compliance of range request handling in the dragonflyoss/dragonfly repository. Focused on backend development using Go, this developer addressed a critical bug in RFC 7233 range parsing by ensuring that negative suffix-lengths are properly rejected during ParseRange operations. The solution included the addition of comprehensive regression tests to verify correct range parsing behavior and to guard against future regressions. By improving test coverage and robustness, the work strengthened content delivery reliability and client interoperability. The approach demonstrated careful attention to protocol standards and a methodical use of Go for backend reliability improvements.
