During November 2024, Sadym focused on maintaining and improving test metadata hygiene within the web-platform-tests/wpt-metadata repository. By carefully auditing and updating META.yml files using YAML, Sadym removed obsolete test references to ensure the metadata accurately reflected the current test inventory. This targeted cleanup enhanced the reliability of continuous integration by reducing false positives and preventing misconfigured or stale tests from affecting results. Leveraging skills in test management and cross-repository maintenance, Sadym’s work improved the maintainability and auditability of the test suite, supporting smoother onboarding and governance of test assets without introducing functional changes to the codebase.
