Worked on backend enhancements for openmrs/openmrs-core and hyperledger/besu, focusing on improving test reliability and debugging capabilities. In openmrs/openmrs-core, strengthened test-driven development by refining unit tests for cohort-related functionality, specifically enhancing patient ID collection logic to increase coverage and reduce regression risk. For hyperledger/besu, implemented targeted debugging instrumentation in Java, introducing a configurable opcode tracing limit and improved return data capture to streamline transaction trace analysis. Addressed storage emission accuracy by aligning debug output with execution-apis specifications, updating both tests and documentation. Demonstrated a methodical approach to API development, debugging, and backend testing, resulting in more robust codebases.
