Worked on enhancing the 0xPlaygrounds/rig repository by delivering an opt-in TLS feature for AWS Bedrock integration, focusing on security-hardening and improved configurability. The approach involved removing legacy rusttls support, disabling default features to minimize the attack surface, and streamlining configuration options to support a TLS-first deployment model. Updated dependencies and refreshed Cargo.lock to ensure stable, reproducible builds and compatibility with AWS Bedrock. The work was implemented using Rust, with an emphasis on backend development and dependency management. These changes prepared the codebase for production readiness by enabling safer deployments and simplifying future enhancements related to TLS integration.
