Worked on the sveltejs/kit repository to enhance the clarity of environment variable usage by overhauling the documentation for the $env/* modules. Focused on distinguishing dynamic and static variables as well as public and private access, providing concrete examples to guide developers. Used Svelte, TypeScript, and Markdown to implement and validate these changes, running local demos and building a minimal app to ensure accuracy. Collaborated with other contributors to co-author updates, ensuring maintainers could easily review and edit the documentation. This work reduced onboarding friction and improved developer guidance, reflecting a detail-oriented approach to documentation and environment variable management.
