Worked on the kubernetes/kubernetes repository to deliver an architectural enhancement for Kubernetes scheduling plugins, focusing on backend development with Go. Developed a feature that exposes detailed NodeInfo to both scoring and pre-filter phases, allowing scheduling plugins to access richer node data during pod placement decisions. This approach enables plugins to make more informed scheduling choices, improves resource utilization, and streamlines plugin development by providing consistent access to node information across different scheduling phases. The work demonstrates a deep understanding of Kubernetes internals and backend systems, emphasizing robust integration and extensibility without introducing new bugs during the development period.
