Worked on improving test reporting accuracy in the goldbergyoni/vitest repository by addressing a critical issue in the JUnit reporter. Delivered a targeted bug fix that ensures the total execution time in the testsuites element now correctly reflects the sum of all individual test suite durations. This adjustment enhances the reliability of CI dashboards and reduces the risk of misleading metrics for development teams. The solution was implemented using TypeScript and leveraged expertise in Node.js and CI/CD workflows, with a focus on robust testing practices. The work contributed to more trustworthy test results and streamlined continuous integration processes for the project.
