Developed and delivered a custom domain configuration and ownership metadata feature for the is-a-dev/register repository, focusing on streamlining domain onboarding and improving traceability. The work involved enhancing the saksham.json configuration file by adding explicit owner information and a CNAME record, thereby standardizing domain management practices within the repository. Leveraging JSON for configuration management and applying DNS concepts such as CNAME records, the developer reduced manual steps required for domain setup and clarified ownership responsibilities. Throughout the project, version control best practices were followed to ensure maintainability and transparency, resulting in a more efficient and governed domain configuration workflow.
