Developed a backend health check UX enhancement with auto-reload for the open-edge-platform/edge-ai-suites repository, focusing on improving reliability during startup and streamlining the user experience when backend connectivity is lost. Leveraged React and TypeScript to implement a startup health check and an automatic recovery workflow that reloads the UI when the backend becomes available again. Simplified the connection-lost banner to reduce operator noise and enhance usability. Updated project documentation in Markdown, including troubleshooting steps and detailed explanations of the new health check behavior. The work addressed both frontend logic and user guidance, resulting in a more robust and user-friendly interface.
