Worked on enhancing the upload pipeline for the basetenlabs/truss repository by implementing end-to-end logging of bundled files, focusing on improving observability and debugging capabilities. Leveraged Python and backend development skills to introduce detailed DEBUG-level instrumentation during the truss push flow, capturing comprehensive information about file uploads. This approach provided developers with greater visibility into the upload process, making it easier to troubleshoot and reproduce issues. The changes aligned with the project’s observability objectives and laid the foundation for reducing mean time to resolution in upload-related incidents. Unit testing was used to ensure reliability and maintainability of the new logging functionality.
