Worked on the modelcontextprotocol/modelcontextprotocol repository to deliver two foundational features over two months, focusing on protocol design, documentation, and governance. Developed the Experimental Extensions Framework, enabling Working and Interest Groups to prototype and incubate ideas before formal submission, with clear naming conventions and a defined transition path to official status. Later, established the Interceptors Working Group and authored its charter, standardizing interceptors as a new Model Context Protocol primitive for context operations such as validators and mutators. All work was documented in Markdown, emphasizing standards development and project management to support collaborative protocol evolution and structured governance processes.
April 2026: Established the Interceptors Working Group and charter to standardize interceptors as a new MCP primitive for context operations (validators and mutators). Implemented governance around interceptors; scope includes tool calls, resource reads, prompt handling, sampling, and elicitation. Documentation updates include charter at docs/community/interceptors/charter.mdx and registration in docs/docs.json under Working Group Charters. Co-authored by Claude Opus 4.6 (1M context). Commit 04128ba9df852b90fe0ed0398435245a8db88ff1 captures the charter work and scope.

January 2026: Delivered the Experimental Extensions Framework for Model Context Protocol to enable Working Groups and Interest Groups to prototype ideas before formal SEP submission. Introduced naming guidelines, governance associations, and a clear transition path to official status, aligned with SEP-2133 (see #2158).
