Worked on the rstudio/helm repository to deliver deployment annotations support for Workbench and Helm charts, enabling users to attach custom metadata to deployment resources. The implementation involved updating Helm chart structures, enhancing YAML configuration, and introducing unit tests to validate annotation behavior. Adjustments were made to CI/CD pipelines to ensure proper versioning and release readiness, while documentation was revised to reflect the new feature. The work aligned annotation handling in Workbench with existing Connect chart behavior, providing consistency across products. Technologies used included Helm, Kubernetes, and Bash, with a focus on maintainable DevOps practices and robust configuration management.
