During January 2025, Samiksha contributed to the CS-Social-Good-CalPoly/Vera repository by focusing on frontend code quality and production readiness. She implemented a targeted cleanup of console log statements in the StorySubmission and StoriesPage components using JavaScript, ensuring that no user-facing behavior was altered. This work improved maintainability by reducing unnecessary log output, which in turn streamlined debugging and facilitated smoother deployments. Samiksha demonstrated strong commit hygiene and adherence to logging standards, documenting changes clearly for traceability. Her efforts centered on codebase cleanliness and maintainable frontend development practices, resulting in a more robust and production-friendly code environment for the project.
