Worked on Finnish UI localization for CollaboraOnline/online, focusing on expanding accessibility for Finnish-speaking users. Leveraged PO files and the Weblate translation platform to translate over 80 percent of user interface strings, integrating the translation workflow directly into the repository to support ongoing updates and quality improvements. Emphasized internationalization and localization best practices, ensuring accurate terminology and readiness for broader locale support. The work prioritized translation and internationalization enhancements over bug fixes, resulting in a more accessible and stable experience for the target user base. Demonstrated skills in internationalization, localization, and translation technologies throughout the month-long project.
