Month: 2025-03 — Two feature deliveries in open-telemetry/opentelemetry-collector-contrib focused on observability and privacy. SQL Server Receiver now exposes additional performance metrics (database operations, replication, memory usage, and transaction handling) with documentation and internal configuration updates. Sumo Logic Exporter added URL masking via sanitizeURL to mask parts of URLs in log messages, reducing exposure of sensitive data; also included log cleanup improvements.
