Worked on moltbot/moltbot to deliver a robust diagnostics system recovery for idle queued sessions, focusing on improving reliability and observability in diagnostics workflows. Addressed the issue of orphaned diagnostic activity by classifying idle, ownerless model and tool calls as recoverable, and enhanced session telemetry to provide better insight into stuck sessions. Improved concurrency by yielding the event loop before session-lock inspection, which reduced lock contention during recovery processes. Updated session-state documentation to reflect these changes, ensuring clarity for operators. Utilized Node.js, TypeScript, and event-driven programming to implement these solutions, resulting in faster issue resolution and improved diagnostics traceability.
