Developed an AWS Agent Registry integration for the Kiro IDE, focusing on secure, zero-configuration discovery of agent capabilities through Dynamic Client Registration. The work, contributed to the awslabs/amazon-bedrock-agentcore-samples repository, included building an advanced tutorial and setup with sample code and configuration files to streamline onboarding and usage. Leveraging Python, API integration, and OAuth, the developer refactored existing code for improved maintainability, removed unused global variables, and enforced stricter parameter requirements. Linting issues were addressed to ensure code quality and stability. The integration enables seamless agent capability discovery within Kiro, enhancing the developer experience and simplifying cloud-based workflows.
