During July 2025, Morycisse Sanassi upgraded the Python runtime to version 3.13 across CI/CD workflows, automation scripts, and documentation for the DataDog/datadog-serverless-functions repository. This work involved updating YAML-based CI configurations and shell scripts to ensure compatibility with the latest Python features, as well as revising documentation to support future migrations. By focusing on Python development, DevOps practices, and AWS Lambda integration, Morycisse enabled a smoother CI feedback loop and reduced runtime drift. The depth of the upgrade addressed both automation and maintainability, laying a foundation for ongoing improvements without introducing new bugs during the release period.
