Worked on the microsoft/finops-toolkit repository to address a critical bug in the FinOps Hubs monitoring workflow, focusing on improving the accuracy of scope generation and validation for cost governance. Used PowerShell scripting and Azure cloud services to resolve a parsing issue in the scopesToMonitor logic, which previously led to unreliable monitoring and increased governance risk. The solution enhanced the reliability of FinOps governance tooling by ensuring correct scope management, reducing false positives in monitoring. Demonstrated strong debugging skills and effective use of Git for traceability, contributing to clearer cost visibility and compliance across cloud-based FinOps hubs during the maintenance period.
