Developed a dedicated Python function for NVIDIA driver version detection, refactoring existing logic to streamline how GPU drivers are identified and utilized. Enhanced backend development by removing hard-coded CUDA_VISIBLE_DEVICES usage, introducing more flexible environment variable management for GPU device selection, particularly when queue processing is disabled. The work emphasized code refactoring and system administration, resulting in reduced setup friction and more robust device allocation during queue processing, without introducing any new bugs.
