Worked on the wallabag/wallabag repository to deliver comprehensive Japanese user interface localization, achieving 99.5% translation coverage and enhancing accessibility for Japanese-speaking users. Leveraged YAML for translation files and utilized Weblate to manage the localization workflow, ensuring consistency and facilitating future updates. Focused on internationalization practices and user interface design, the work established a robust process for ongoing translation efforts. Collaboration was managed through Git-based workflows, integrating translation updates directly into the codebase. This feature expanded the application's reach and usability, laying the groundwork for continued localization and improved user experience without addressing bug fixes during the development period.
