Worked on the wandb/helm-charts repository to enhance secure and scalable certificate management within the operator Helm chart. Developed a feature enabling CA certificates to be mounted from a Kubernetes ConfigMap, introducing the caCertsConfigMap option and updating deployment manifests to support conditional SSL_CERT_DIR configuration and volume mounts. Updated values.yaml and documentation to clarify the new workflow and adoption paths, aiming to reduce deployment friction for users. The work focused on YAML templating and Helm chart best practices, ensuring stable certificate handling across charts. This contribution deepened integration between Kubernetes and Helm, emphasizing maintainability and clarity in certificate management processes.
