Worked on enhancing the robustness and diagnostics of Wi-Fi connectivity within the rdkcentral/rdk-wifi-hal and rdkcentral/OneWifi repositories. Addressed a gap in deauthentication handling by implementing a fallback mechanism in C to capture deauthentication reason codes when standard attributes were missing, improving reliability in TX status event processing. Developed a new RBUS event in OneWifi to surface detailed diagnostics for failed Wi-Fi connections, including BSSID, station MAC, and status codes, aiding in network troubleshooting. Leveraged expertise in C programming, embedded systems, and network programming to deliver targeted improvements that strengthen telemetry and error reporting for embedded Wi-Fi solutions.
