Worked on enhancing data validation for donut chart generation in the juspay/clairvoyance repository, focusing on improving the reliability of dashboard rendering. Addressed a bug by implementing numeric input validation, ensuring that only numeric values are accepted during the data ingestion and charting process. This approach prevents non-numeric data from reaching the renderer, reducing runtime errors and improving data integrity across the charting pipeline. Utilized Python programming skills to add upstream validation logic and enhance error messaging, which streamlines user experience and decreases support requests. The work demonstrates attention to robust data validation and practical application of chart generation techniques.
