Sara Arribas developed and enhanced the data processing pipeline for the SaraADR/dags repository, focusing on routing, persistence, and observability. She implemented a robust routing system and expanded JSON-based data storage to improve data durability and interoperability. Leveraging Python, SQL, and Apache Airflow, Sara refactored core modules, introduced metadata extraction, and integrated image metadata handling to support richer search and ingestion. She improved database schema, standardized date and time processing, and strengthened logging for better diagnostics. Her work addressed output reliability and bug fixes, resulting in a more maintainable, reliable backend that supports complex ETL workflows and scalable data engineering operations.
