Worked on streamlining the catalog representation for the kartverket/backstage-plugin-risk-scorecard-frontend repository by simplifying the catalog-info.yaml configuration. Focused on removing redundant Group and Resource type entries and consolidating component information, which reduced complexity and improved maintainability of the Backstage plugin’s catalog. Leveraged skills in configuration management and YAML to implement these changes, ensuring that the catalog structure became more intuitive for both current and future contributors. Collaborated through code review processes and contributed via a dedicated pull request, ultimately making onboarding easier for new developers and supporting more efficient catalog management within the Backstage ecosystem for this project.
