Worked on the nushell/winget-pkgs repository to deliver the Kosay.kubetui v1.7.1 release, focusing on enhancing package distribution and installation through Windows packaging standards. Developed and integrated a new installer, added locale files for improved localization readiness, and updated the version manifest to ensure accurate release metadata. Leveraged DevOps practices and package management expertise to automate the release process and maintain Git-based traceability by linking changes to specific commits. Utilized YAML for manifest management, validating all packaging artifacts against Winget requirements. This work improved the quality and traceability of the package, supporting smoother deployment and broader accessibility for end users.
