Worked on the timeplus-io/proton repository to enhance both documentation and data handling for Timeplus Proton. Focused on improving developer experience and data correctness, this work included a comprehensive README update that clarified Proton’s stream processing capabilities and distinguished it from ClickHouse. Updated the Change Data Capture (CDC) SQL sample to capture before-data for updates, enabling robust undo support in changelog queries. Leveraged SQL and Markdown to refactor update logic for clarity and accuracy, reducing onboarding time and minimizing misconfiguration risks. These contributions improved maintainability and ensured that documentation and samples more accurately reflected Proton’s intended use cases.
