Applied asynchronous programming techniques and static analysis tools like Clippy to improve code quality, readability, and maintainability. Refactored critical controllers, simplified async lifetimes, and addressed drop-order changes to align with new Rust standards, reducing technical debt and operational risk. Enhanced security by updating dependencies such as rustls-webpki and resolved lifecycle bugs affecting resource management. These efforts established a robust foundation for future upgrades, accelerated onboarding for contributors, and ensured compatibility for Kubernetes-based operator workloads.
