During February 2026, Saurabh Kumar developed an Addon Backup and Restore feature for the Siemens-Healthineers/K2s repository, focusing on enhancing data resilience and disaster recovery for K2s addons. He implemented backup and restore flows using PowerShell scripting and DevOps practices, integrating the solution with existing Kubernetes infrastructure management processes. This work enabled reliable data protection across multiple addons, reducing the risk of data loss and supporting auditable recovery procedures. By linking the implementation to tracked issues and ensuring traceability, Saurabh improved the overall lifecycle management of K2s addons, laying groundwork for safer and more robust addon management workflows in production environments.
