Sam Barani developed type exports for Deepbook BCS structs within the MystenLabs/ts-sdks repository, focusing on improving type safety and usability for the Deepbook client. By leveraging TypeScript and BCS Serialization, Sam added and modified files to export various BCS types, enabling developers to interact with Deepbook structures in a safer and more ergonomic manner. The work required a solid understanding of SDK development and the Move language, ensuring that the exported types integrated seamlessly with existing client workflows. This contribution addressed a specific need for safer type handling, though the scope was limited to a single feature over one month.
