Worked on the librenms/librenms repository to address a device monitoring issue by correcting TX/RX power sensor labels for fs.com switches. Focused on aligning sensor descriptions with actual hardware, the developer updated device metadata and resolved a labeling mismatch that previously caused confusion in network monitoring and alerting. This PHP-based fix improved the accuracy of power monitoring and supported more reliable capacity planning. Leveraging skills in device configuration and network monitoring, the work reinforced data integrity within the monitoring system. The contribution was co-authored and demonstrated attention to detail in maintaining consistency between software representations and physical device characteristics.
