Worked on the conductor-oss/conductor repository to enhance backend reliability and maintainability, focusing on Java-based workflow orchestration. Addressed two critical bugs by refining dynamic input handling for Fork-Join scenarios, ensuring that JSON_JQ_TRANSFORM tasks preserved input structures and correctly managed empty results and JSON node extraction. Improved build stability by enforcing code formatting standards with the spotless formatter on active branches, reducing pipeline failures and supporting developer velocity. Additionally, refactored TaskResource logic to improve readability and exception handling, contributing to long-term maintainability. The work demonstrated attention to edge cases and build hygiene, emphasizing robust backend development practices in Java environments.
