During February 2025, Schissdraeck contributed to the nextcloud/external repository by developing the External Site URL Localization feature. This work introduced dynamic {language} and {locale} placeholders into external site URLs, enabling language- and locale-specific linking for improved multilingual support. Schissdraeck implemented runtime substitution logic within the URL generation workflow and integrated these changes with the SitesManager component. The update also included enhancements to settings and documentation to clarify usage and ensure correct substitution. Working primarily with PHP and backend development patterns, Schissdraeck focused on localization, URL templating, and code quality, addressing a targeted need for flexible, language-aware integrations.
