Worked on expanding hardware coverage in the netbox-community/devicetype-library repository by adding support for the Supermicro SYS-6036ST-6LR chassis and its components, including the PWS-1K2-1R power supply and X8-DTS-F motherboard. Focused on improving hardware integration accuracy by refining YAML configuration files, specifically updating port-mapping and placement for USB and SAS ports to better reflect actual hardware layouts. This approach reduced configuration drift and streamlined device provisioning, enabling faster and more reliable deployments. Demonstrated collaboration through co-authored changes, emphasizing code quality and maintainability while leveraging skills in YAML, device management, and hardware integration throughout the development process.
