During July 2025, sciml-bot focused on improving code quality and maintainability across eight SciML repositories, including DiffEqBase.jl, StochasticDiffEq.jl, and NeuralPDE.jl. Using Julia and automated tooling such as JuliaFormatter, sciml-bot standardized code formatting to align with SciML’s style guidelines, enhancing readability and consistency without introducing functional changes. The work involved extensive repository maintenance and CI/CD integration, ensuring that future contributions would be easier to review and less prone to style-related diffs. By establishing a consistent formatting baseline, sciml-bot laid the groundwork for faster onboarding and more reliable development workflows across the SciML ecosystem.
