Worked on the eclipse-simrel/simrel.build repository to align the release configuration with Papyrus 7.0.0 RC2, focusing on configuration management and XML updates. Addressed a release pipeline issue by updating the Papyrus aggregator and repository locations, ensuring the build system tracked the latest development version. Implemented a minor configuration change to the release process, which reduced build-time inconsistencies and improved reproducibility for the RC2 deployment. The work centered on stabilizing the release process rather than adding new features, demonstrating attention to detail in configuration management and XML, and contributing to a more reliable and predictable release cycle for the project.
