Worked on targeted documentation and code maintenance for the OSGeo/gdal and prefix-dev/pixi repositories, focusing on improving clarity and reducing user confusion. Enhanced the /vsicurl virtual file system documentation by detailing the previously undocumented empty_dir option, updating both Markdown and reStructuredText files, and removing outdated inline comments in C++ code to streamline maintenance. In prefix-dev/pixi, addressed documentation hygiene by eliminating dead Binder links and references to deprecated resources in JupyterLab integration guides. Leveraged C++, Markdown, and RST to ensure documentation accurately reflected current features, ultimately supporting easier onboarding, reducing support overhead, and improving the long-term maintainability of both projects.
