Worked on the okx/optimism repository to enhance error handling for commitment type mismatches in backend workflows. Developed a dedicated error type in Go, enabling clearer and more actionable error messages when mismatches occur. This approach improved the reliability and maintainability of commit-related processes by making error reporting more explicit and reducing the time required for debugging. The update also included improved documentation references, supporting better code readability and developer experience. Focused on backend development and error handling, the work strengthened code quality by introducing explicit error modeling, ultimately making commit workflows more robust and easier to troubleshoot for future contributors.
