In September 2025, Sam Danielson contributed to the whitmanarchive/whitman-manuscripts repository by developing and updating the loc.07608.xml localization data file. Focusing on XML data modeling and data management, Sam implemented metadata and configuration changes to enhance localization coverage and data integrity across manuscript records. The work established a foundation for improved downstream localization and rendering, with all changes tracked through a clear, Git-based commit history. Although the scope was limited to a single feature over one month, the updates demonstrated careful attention to data quality and maintainability, supporting future enhancements in localization workflows for the project’s manuscript data.
