During November 2025, S. Dharm worked on the GoogleCloudPlatform/magic-modules repository, delivering enhancements to AppHub metadata for services and workloads. Dharm implemented new properties—functional_type, registration_type, and extended_metadata—using YAML to enable more granular categorization and governance of cloud resources. This work focused on strengthening policy enforcement, resource management, and automation readiness within backend systems. Leveraging skills in API design, backend development, and cloud services, Dharm’s contribution addressed the need for finer-grained control over service and workload metadata. The depth of the work is reflected in the thoughtful extension of existing schemas to support evolving governance and automation requirements.
