Worked on the kgrgreer/foam3 repository to enhance Docker deployment by introducing a new -M flag, enabling explicit JVM memory allocation for improved resource control within containers. Leveraged Bash scripting and Docker to update the deployment process, ensuring predictable memory usage and greater startup determinism. Adjusted the configuration loading sequence so that shrc.local is sourced before shrc.custom, clarifying configuration precedence and contributing to overall system stability. Focused on infrastructure and deployment improvements rather than bug fixes, with all changes aimed at optimizing containerized environments.
