Worked on user-facing enhancements and reliability improvements across the XLabs/portal-bridge-ui and wormhole-connect repositories. Developed an in-progress widget for the Connect UI, enabling clearer progress feedback for users. Introduced a 1.5-second timeout guard for Wormhole Scan API calls, preventing hanging requests and improving application responsiveness. Enhanced error handling for chain sorting by logging AbortErrors and preserving existing data to avoid crashes. Updated portal dependencies to maintain compatibility and stability. Customized WalletConnect RPCs in wormhole-connect for more reliable wallet interactions and cleaned up the codebase. Utilized TypeScript, React Hooks, and API integration to deliver robust, maintainable solutions.
