Worked on the elastic/eui repository to enhance navigation reliability by implementing an auto-close feature for the EuiCollapsibleNavBeta component. This update ensured that when a link inside the navigation was clicked, the popover or flyout would automatically close, addressing inconsistencies in navigation state across different interaction types. The solution also supported custom rendered items, allowing them to trigger the closing behavior and further improving user experience. The work focused on front-end development and component design using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with an emphasis on UI/UX improvement. No bugs were fixed during this period, and one feature was delivered.
