In December 2025, Secondfry enhanced the navigation system for the rolling-scopes/site repository by implementing external donation links in the main menu. Using React and TypeScript, Secondfry introduced new data-structure properties and updated the rendering logic to ensure donation links are recognized and handled as external destinations. This targeted change addressed a specific bug, ensuring that donation links open externally as intended, thereby streamlining the donor experience and reducing friction in the donation process. The work demonstrated a clear mapping between data structures and UI behavior, contributing to improved maintainability and clarity in the navigation layer’s front end implementation.
