Worked on the rust-lang/gcc repository, focusing on targeted cleanup of the RS6000 target configuration in C++. Addressed technical debt by removing an unused reload.h include after a configuration refactor, ensuring the build system remained stable and behavior unchanged. Verified that all build results matched previous outputs, confirming no regressions were introduced during the code refactoring process. This work improved maintainability of the compiler codebase by simplifying configuration files and eliminating obsolete dependencies. Demonstrated skills in build systems, code refactoring, and compiler development, with careful attention to preserving existing functionality while streamlining the underlying implementation for future development.
