During January 2026, Liu contributed to the microcai/gentoo-zh repository by developing and publishing a new MaixVision AIoT Development Platform Package. Liu created an automated installation script and comprehensive package metadata using Bash and XML, streamlining the onboarding process for AIoT developers on Gentoo-based systems. This work focused on improving reproducibility and simplifying setup, aligning Gentoo packaging standards with MaixVision tooling requirements. Leveraging skills in Linux system administration and package management, Liu’s contribution addressed the need for reliable, maintainable deployment of AIoT tools. No major bugs were reported, indicating a focused and well-executed implementation within the project’s scope.
