Contributed to the kufu/smarthr-ui repository by delivering a feature that enhanced the structural and styling flexibility of the AppLauncher component. The work involved replacing the main HTML element with a div, which improved the semantic structure and opened up greater potential for accessibility and custom styling. This change aligned with the broader goals of the design system, supporting more adaptable and maintainable UI iterations in the future. The implementation was carried out using React and TypeScript, focusing on front end development best practices. No bugs were fixed during this period, with efforts concentrated on this targeted feature enhancement.
