Worked on the wandb/helm-charts repository to deliver two core features focused on improving historical data storage and deployment simplicity. Developed a Parquet-only history store deployment by removing legacy Bigtable and MySQL fallbacks, consolidating storage paths, and introducing configuration options to enforce Parquet usage, which enhanced data consistency and operational efficiency. Later, implemented a ClickHouse-backed history store for the W&B Operator, enabling faster data retrieval, improved lineage, and reproducibility. Collaborated with other contributors throughout the process. The work leveraged Go, YAML, Helm, and Kubernetes, demonstrating depth in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices while addressing production deployment challenges directly.
