Enhanced observability in Cassandra by authoring detailed documentation for new tombstone metrics, clarifying their purpose and usage with threshold-based guidance to support incident response and SLA adherence. Leveraged adoc for documentation and Gradle for build automation. In the Cassandra Sidecar project, addressed a deployment issue by correcting a broken symbolic link in the RPM package, ensuring the executable was properly linked and reducing post-install failures. Maintained traceability by linking documentation and code changes to specific commits, supporting reproducibility and future audits across both repositories.
